Hailing from Macedonia, Kire Najdovski inherited an innate sense of music from that region, forever influencing his musical career. Focused and determined, he began playing guitar at the age of 9. Through tenacity and experience, he created a demand for his daunting skills. Now a seasoned guitar professional, Kire still performs regularly with Al Chez and The Brothers of Funk (It’s important to note that Al maintained a 25 year run as trumpeter for The Late Night With David Letterman Band).
Kire embarked upon an entirely new direction in 2011. Compelled by a fierce passion for creativity, he began composing instrumental music, specifically for a guitar led power trio. After collaborating with bass-phenom Don Torpy and master drummer Emmett Ientilucci, the Kire Najdovski Band (KNB) was born. This trio is lean and mean, showcasing Kire’s formidable stage presence and guitar virtuosity.
Additionally, he’s a dynamic guitarist who is constantly in demand. in 2017, the critically acclaimed master bassist, Billy Sheehan, asked Kire to join the hard rocking group Talas. Wherever he plays, audiences are thunder-struck when they experience Kire live.
